Acrylic portrait. 41x55cm

I bought this portrait during a trip to Cuba in 2015.

This work immediately stopped me. I love the energy and dynamic range in this portrait. This portrait appears so solid even though the painting style is still quite loose. The white highlights work really well to accentuate this volume. The anger and energy in the face is matched with the energy of the brushstrokes.

I'm reluctant to sell this, but my house is bursting with art so if it finds another appreciative home then that's good too.

I had this framed in Cork. The price is for the unframed painting delivered in a postal tube. If you would like a price that includes the frame then please email me. 41x55cm.
