Anngrove

This painting is based on a photo taken in Anngrove, Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork. It was taken on a familiar bend in the road in November, with hard, bright light that caught the path of the changing leaves.

This is still probably the most challenging painting i've ever completed. It's the first one I made using a detailed grid (with the help of studio buddy, @erinvalentine.art) and had the most detail of any painting I've ever done.

Oil on canvas. Sold.
